  • 1.  Change field display name not working

    Hi folks! I have a request to change Email1 to display "Organization Email" vs "Email" to avoid some confusion. This in theory should be stupid simple but despite multiple publishes, it continues to say "Email". My tool tip helper text updated - but not the display name for the field itself. (I'm not trying to change the schema name - just the display name.)

    Has anyone been able to successfully change these kinds of system fields? Is it something that in theory it lets me do but the reality is that it doesn't support it?

    Where did you make this change?
    You also need to change the text on the form.

    I made the change in the account entity > fields > email1 field display name. Same way I've changed / built many other fields while building things out. The forms in the past have always updated with the new language once published - so I am not entirely sure what you mean by having to change that as well.

    Yeah, I'm not sure when, but column name changes stopped being reflected in forms a while ago.
    You just need to go into the form in question and update the label to what you want it to be.

    This might be a silly suggestion, but have you tried clearing our cache? Sometimes I have an issue that changes dont show up until i clear my cache or reboot...  Just a thought.
