    Good morning
We have CRM 8.1 On Prem. Our IT will setup a new Active Directory Server. It will probably get a new IP Address and a new machine name. Domain itself will not change.
Is there something we have to considerate before the new AD Server is going into production?
    Thanks in advance
    Heinz

If this is an additional AD domain controller then there is no impact on Dynamics.

Or if it is being added to the domain as a new domain controller and an existing one removed later - then again there should be no impact.

As long as the domain is not changed, changes to domain controllers, their IP addresses and machine names should not matter.

    Hi Feridun
Thank you for your answer. Sounds good to me, so we'll probably go forward with the new DC.
    Kind regards
    Heinz
