    Dear Experts,

Our requirements are bit more customised in terms of UI, so need to call WebAPI crud operations on clicking a button, I need to call WEB API to perform CRUD (Add/ Update) operations. I am not using Entity forms and Web forms at the moments because of RICH UI. I am using Liquid and customise html to show my forms. EIther a javascript way or any other secure way. Please can you guide. I found some articles, but none of them work so far.

The above did not work for me, as it gives me multiple errors.

I read somewhere, I can use javascript with Entity forms (hidden in the background to do the trick). But I need to trigger a WEB API request.

    Kind regards,

The ability to call WebAPI operations from Power Apps Portals is a feature that is coming in public preview in June 2020.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2020wave1/microsoft-powerapps/web-apis-crud-operations-common-data-service-entities

To do something similar today, a common method is to create a "companion web app" which is a separate web application that black boxes the transactions back to CDS.
    Some more details here: https://colinvermander.com/portal-companion-app/

    Cheers
