Update a Contact Record when Company is Updated

    We have a custom field "Send Marketing Material" (with yes/no options) on the account level and the contact level.
    It is on both so if an individual contact wants to stop receiving communication, we can turn them off.
    However, if it is set to no at the account level, we would stop sending to any contacts associated.

    Is it possible, when the field is updated to NO on the Account side, that all the contacts associated with the account are also updated to NO?
    I was only able to create a workflow that would do this for the primary contact.
    I also was able to create a manual workflow to update all contacts, but i was hoping for something automatic.

    You will have to either develop something custom or use some toolkit. For example you can use my UltimateWorkflowToolkit and "Update Child Records" step.

    ​If you're CRM Online then you can use a Flow for that so no third party or community products needed.  If you want help to get going with Flow and compare that to Workflow check out the blog articles by @Matt Collins Flow vs Workflow.  There is an important note about the way Flows are triggered by any update though, not just a specific field update.​
