Anyone experience any issues with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on premises) Update 2.5?
I'm on 8.2.2 on-prem now and hope this will be an easy one!

    Hi Alison
We are just about to put this live, having tested it in DEV and UAT - All looks OK but you never know!

I posted this a few weeks back and nothing major has been reported..

    https://www.crmug.com/communities/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MessageKey=b80ebf79-81d3-4d63-8031-435c425239c4&CommunityKey=dc83c23b-ede0-4070-ae7a-dd90859148a6&tab=digestviewer#bmb80ebf79-81d3-4d63-8031-435c425239c4

I will let you know if our users report anything.

    Thanks

I upgraded from 8.2.3 to 8.2.5. No issues, however it didn't do everything it stated in the release notes.

    Cheers!

    Hi Allison-

The update for us went just fine and no issues to report.

There is just one small inconvenience with the SSRS report viewer -- when the window first pops up and you maximize it, the parameter section takes up like half of the window. Hiding and then showing the parameter area puts it back to normal. Not a big deal at all.

We did the upgrade from 8.2.2 to 8.2.3 and I documented the issues/takeaways here: https://crmkrm.blogspot.com/2019/02/microsoft-dynamics-365-upgrading-from.html

Most of these were somewhat odd cases due to our use of the system. So hopefully all goes smoothly for you.

Just make sure you test as much as you can in a lower environment and be prepared to make fixes as needed after it is released. Let us know how it goes!

Great blog post, @Kylie Kiser !

thanks for sharing; I hope some of these issues in 8.2.3 were fixed in 8.2.4 or 8.2.5! :-o
