Users unable to track email after upgrade to V9.1

  • 1.  Users unable to track email after upgrade to V9.1

    Our users are not able to track email since hte upgrade, but I can.  I am guessing it might be some type of security role issue as I have a sys admin role.  Anyone else experience this?

    Ok, I figure out that I need to assign roles to the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook under "My apps".  Hope this helps someone else! :)

    Where is this setting?  Is it in Security Roles?
    We will be updating to v9 in Production next month.

    Barbara,
    This applies if you are using the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook as opposed to Dynamics 365 for Outlook(the add-on).
    To apply the security roles
    1. Go to Setting -> System -> My Apps and you should be able to see Dynamics  365 for Outlook as one of the Apps.
    2. Select the ellipsis on the top right corner of the app and click on Manage roles and then select the roles you want to have access to the App
