    Hello -

I've created a workflow that sends an e-mail message to my team that includes an image inside the e-mail, but the image is not coming thru outlook and when I look at the e-mail in CRM it has the following message: The email below might contain script or content that is potentially harmful and has been blocked.  Does anyone have a solution for this problem ?  Is this a setting somewhere that I'm missing ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

@Linda Lockard - Technically, there are two different applications and "issues" that you are mentioning. First, within Outlook, there is a setting that determines if the images is auto-downloaded or not. This is by design as some images can be potentially harmful. Reference this article:
Block or unblock automatic picture downloads in email messages

Next is the "issue" in CRM with the message you are seeing. This is a common complaint that has been posted in other forums which can be referenced here and here.

I don't believe there has been a definitive "fix" for this message appearing in CRM for the email activities. If others want to chime in, I am more than welcome of other input.

    Linda,

I have gotten so used to seeing this message pop up, ignoring it and continuing on that I almost forgot it is still there.

This is a warning message that the email content has scripting tags in it. Formatted emails may have formatting done through style and/or script tags. When one of these is found in an email message, this warning message is displayed.  By comparison, if you open an email with just plain text in CRM, you would not find this message.  As your users know this message came from you, they know it is just an information message and can be ignored with any impact on the functionality.

Unfortunately,  I do not believe there is a supported way to suppress this message.  But there are a number of unsupported code examples that people have shared to suppress it that can be found with a quick searches  (Let me know if you want me to point you to a few examples)

    Linda,

It's been a few months now, any more info on this issue?  I'm getting "This Email has been blocked due to potentially harmful content.", in the UCI.

in a previous post in this thread Patrick said it is due to style/script tags and plain text emails don't display this message.  Do you know if there is a way to force all emails to plain text before Server Side Sync writes them into CRM?

Does anyone know if there are plans by MS to make this warning optional and/or give more control over it?

    Thanks in advance,

if you want to remove the warnings Microsoft made it possible to remove the warning by setting feature flag "SecuritySettingforEmail" in OrgDbOrgSettings
