    Hi,

    We're D365 online with Server Side Sync enabled, using the D365 App for Outlook
    I'm trying to find an Appointments User Guide for D365 which would cover creating , tracking, updating and closing appointments, within UCI and in Outlook.

    I'm really struggling to find something that will cover all the nuances - e.g. how to handle recurring appointments, what happens when changes are made after appointments are created, what happens if I delete an appointment, why are status reasons limited in UCI etc.

    The closest I found was https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/outlook-app/dynamics-365-app-outlook-user-s-guide but users already have a good understanding of how to track using the app so it's not of much benefit.

    Does anyone have a resource they could point me to?

    Thanks,

    UPDATE: I just discovered this resource - https://community.dynamics.com/crm/b/crminthefield/posts/dynamics-365-app-for-outlook-part-5-working-with-appointments

    There's a lot of information in there and likely everything I need for my end user guide !

    @Sean O Malley

    Aaron Richards from Microsoft has written a in-depth 10 part guide on the App for Outlook. Part 5 is about working with appointments.

    I think the guide is mostly targeted at admins and configurators. However, it really explains all the moving parts of the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook in details, so I think you will find it valuable.
