Tracking email (without regarding) where sender is not yet a contact

    We are online and Unified interface and using Outlook app.

    The case is like this:

    1. An email where sender is not yet a contact in CRM is tracked without regarding
    2. Some time after the contact will be created in CRM
    3. Now I will assume that the email tracked without regarding will be matched with the newly created contact. But it doesn't seem to happen any longer.
    4. Previously we could use advanced find to search for emails with unresolved senders. Once the contact was created the email with unresolved sender dissapeared from that list.

    Does anyone know if this is due to unified interface or maybe the Outlook App or do you know of any work-around to match contact with tracked emails that was tracked before the contact was created in CRM?
