Not able to restrict views on a sub-grid

    Hi all,
We're on D365 Online CE v9 classic interface.  I've created a sub-grid called Featured Partners for users to add accounts to.  I've set the default view to a Featured Partners (a view i've created which in our Dev environment contains 7 accounts).

When I click on the magnifying glass it displays accounts that aren't in the Featured Partners view...

...and when I click on Look Up More Records, the default view is Account Lookup View and I am able to change the view to any one of the other system and personal view in the environment.

I've had a look in the UI and get the same behaviour.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is this a known issue or should I raise a support ticket with Microsoft?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Mark,
Behavior you describe is expected because this is how Dynamics CE works for the last decade.
When you configure and limit the list of available view - it's applied to the grid itself and not to add records behavior.

If you want to change that behavior you should read this post - https://www.magnetismsolutions.com/blog/paulnieuwelaar/2018/05/17/filter-n-n-add-existing-lookup-dynamics-365-v9-supported-code

Hi @Andrew Butenko, many thanks for the reply and link to the supported code.  I'll pass this onto our developers to see if they can pick this up.
