Don't get me wrong, I love CDS but I've noticed alot of my views seem to just not populate the primary field - like Opportunity Names. Does anyone else have this issue or know a solution?

If the field has data in it on the form, then most likely the wrong field is selected in the view.

One really quick way of working out what field you are looking at is to install the Metadata browser extension for Edge and Chrome.

I experience that same issue for views on the user entity. The manager column is only populated for some of the users. However, if you open the record, you can see that the manager field does contain data.

I think it is a bug.

Yes! I'm actually relieved that someone else is experiencing this.  I have found if I remove the column and add it back, it fixes the issue.  Not sure why, but it's worked for us.

Thanks Tim.  I had the same issue with the Opportunity name not appearing with the Unified Interface.  Removing the column and adding it back worked for me as well.

@Dean Devin  awesome!   I also discovered this week that a user could not see the subject column of a certain view.  I went into the UCI app and realized the view wasn't selected to be included in the app. Once I added it he could see the subject again.  Very weird bugs.

Not sure if this is related, but with every update, one or more of my related or regarding columns in my views seems to spontaneously stop showing data.  What users experience is that if they open one record, then the field data in that column appears but only for that record. I have to delete the column from the view, save and publish, then add it back in and it works fine for all records.
