Export to Excel Issues in v9

    We updated to v9 over the weekend and some of my users are now having trouble with static exports to Excel. The export window will open but it is blank and the exported file never seems to load or give them the option to save as/open. We have tried closing the browser window, clearing the cache and reopening CRM. Most are using Edge or Chrome as a browser. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

    We have not experienced that issue.  Do the other export options work?  Is this occurring for all users and all browsers?

    Hi Martha,
    I think I had similar issues before but cannot recall the CRM version - I think it was the first version of 2016. It was a bug that was fixed from Microsoft. But maybe you have a compatability issue between Office and CRM.

    We have seen this in cases where there are 2 columns in the view with the same label.

    We've also seen that while we don't get any sort of error when trying to do an export to a static worksheet, we did see an error message when doing an export to Excel online, so might be worth a try if the duplicate column names isn't the issue you're having.
