Is it possible to create additional fields that I need to see on the Opportunity form that I also need on the contact form? I have a user who needs to add additional info in CRM for post follow up on clients.
I thought I could just create more fields to add additional names and titles emails etc... but I cant seem to link/map them to link?

ex. the contact name is a look up field on the opportunity form. but when I create a business owner and admin field I cant link them back to the contact form. I added them on the contact form first, thinking I could then link it on my opp form. Not the case, unless I am doing it wrong.
I need the fields on the contact (assuming this anyway) thinking I can then pull them into the opp form... is this not possible?

If I understand what you're trying to do, I think you could accomplish it with the following:

    1. Create a lookup field on the opportunity entity named businessowner that is a lookup data type and the target entity is contact.
    2. Create a lookup field on the opportunity entity named admin that is a lookup data type and the target entity is contact.
    3. Use a quick view control for one or both of those fields to represent data on the opportunity form for the lookup fields.

Here's more info about the quick view control. It's a convenient and easy way to pull data from one entity and display it on another entity form:
