@Scott Grimes
We noticed that the freezing occurs for views that show the Parent Account field (and therefore have the hierarchy icon at the left of the row) for our Accounts table.
If we use a view that excludes the Parent Account, then the jump bar seems to work.
Also, strangely enough, if we jump through these hoops, it works:
- While on the Accounts view, refresh the browser window
- Sort the table by Name, Z to A
- Sort the table by Name, A to Z
- Now your jump bar works.
That might not work for everyone, but it has worked in our testing.

I applied Jeff's suggested fix to our Accounts entity (table) and it works on some views, but not on others. In fact, on some views, once you click a letter, the jumpbar seems to freeze, and you can't click any other letters. Is anyone else seeing this problem?

I heard back from Microsoft and they confirmed that the jumpbar was turned off by default in the new wave update, however, Users can turn it back on in settings (entity by entity):
Steps:
Go to Settings – Advanced Settings – Settings (dropdown) – Customizations – Customize the system – Entities - <select the entity you want to customize> - Controls – Add Control – Select "Power Apps Grid" and then enable the Jump bar setting.
>> Save & Publish the changes.

Hi Jeff,
Yes, we are missing it too after the Wave 2 upgrade. We opened a ticket with Microsoft and they are investigating the issue. I would suggest to open a ticket too.

Hi CRMUG - this is my first post in the forum. After the latest Microsoft D365 Update, our users are reporting that the alphabet bar is no longer appearing at the bottom of their contact list. Is this happening for others and is there a way to get it back? We are using D365 cloud.
Thanks
