We had some script on the old web form to hide the fax, letter, text activities from the pick list on the subgrid.  Is there a way to easily do this on the new UI? Thanks!

@Laura Mortick - In the new UI, there isn't an option to limit this on a subrid (that I am aware of) other than through javascript. However, if you utilize the Timeline, you can limit which activities options are available. This is in the form editor and in the Timeline properties window. As shown below, you can "Show Selected" and then pick and choose which activity types are made available.

I would 2nd Aaron's recommendation, and also see if you can try removing access to those entities with a security role?  I haven't independently verified this, but it 'should' work. :-)

    Good Luck!

Thanks@Aaron Back, MCSE, but we use the sub-grid because we bring in activities from other entities and there is some custom code as to what is visible in the grid.  @Chris Harrington I tried that, but there is only "activities" listed on the security role, not specific activity types.  Appreciate both of your suggestions.  Laura

Take a look at this blog. I used it to hide several of the Activities we do not use
