Duplicate Records Box

    Hello,

I have D365 online v9 new UI.  I just enabled the improved duplicate detection and merge experience in our test environment.  It works great, but i was wondering if there was a way to format the view so certain columns are displayed?  This image is from the account entity and as you can see the "current record" has the columns all scrunched together so it is not easy to see.

I tried looking online, but was not able to find anything around formatting this view.

I would like to do the same thing for our lead display and potentially add an account number column.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I wrote a in depth blog post on this a few weeks back and whilst it can be done, it isn't easy and isn't always guaranteed.

    Hope that helps a little.

@Matt Beard  Thank you so much for sending me your blog!  I found it extremely helpful.  I have always been confused by how the system chooses which columns to display.  It would be nice to be able to include additional info to be displayed, but not necessarily part of the dup check criteria (i.e. account number).

My last question is how is the current record columns selected?  You can see there are a ton listed, and i only have 3 in my dup rule.  This is only on the account entity.  The lead shows the ones that are in my dup check rule.
