WalkMe

    Has anyone purchased and integrated WalkMe in their CRM instance. We're looking for any insight on how you're using it, if installing it changes the performance of CRM (does it slow the system down), and any other challenges or successes. If you evaluated WalkMe and decided to go with a different tool, what tool and why?

    Hey Libby,


    I've implemented WalkMe before and there are definitely positives & negatives to it. We used it for on-boarding & on-going training. I liked that you could see how far people were in the training and if they completed it. The set up time was a little cumbersome, think about all the steps you have that you want to walk people through in a process. You would need to build all of that out. But the reward was worth it because you could see which "help" articles or walk thrus people are reviewing or using - the data was helpful in building additional training offerings or identifying where we needed to simplify processes.

    We did see performance issues over time with WalkMe. This was about 4 years ago and they specialized in SalesForce integration; even when we received demos they used a SalesForce environment. We were having so many issues with performance we had Microsoft perform a system review and found that WalkMe was the main cause because of how much it needed to download on the page before it would load. We ended up having to remove it entirely in order to improve our performance because they couldn't offer us a solution. Again, this was 4 years ago so I'm not sure if they have improved their tool since then.
