Dynamics 365 BC to Dynamics 365 Sales Integration Setup Error

    Hi to all.

    We are having an issue with the setting up the connection between Dynamics 365 productive company – Purple Line and productive Dynamics 365 Sales (D365 Production Environment).

    After running the Assisted Setup – Set up Dynamics 365 Sales Connection from Dynamics 365 BC. there is an error message from the attachment.

    Did anyone had same error? If so, how to solve it?

    On the other hand, Dynamics 365 BC and Dynamics 365 Sales integration on test (sandbox) environment (and Dynamics 365 BC TEST Company) is working without issues, for same admin and synch users with same permissions and roles.

    First things I would check are:
    • Password: Are you using an app password that works without multi-factor authentication?
    • CRM License: I've found that during this initial connection process it seems that the user specified must have a full license--not just an Application User. I'm still testing this, but I think later you can revert to Application User. 
    This article seems like it's probably the same issue you're running into.

    Hi Greg.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Password: We are not using multi-factor authentication. We are using M365 accounts to access apps.
    CRM Licenses: Dynamics 365 Sales Professional Full licenses are assigned to users.

    I have already done she setup of the connection on the Test Company in BC with Sandbox CRM environment (with same user setup, roles, permissions etc) and integration is working fully.

    Thanks also for the article, it is same issue! I will attach this to Microsoft ticket.
