How Often Does MS Refresh Capacity Data Shown in Admin Center?

  • 1.  How Often Does MS Refresh Capacity Data Shown in Admin Center?

    Greetings,

Doing some cleanup work in the SBX as my client is running into capacity issues.  I've deleted all the audit log data as it is not needed in DEV however, the capacity has not changed.  I can only imagine MS rolls this up every so often.  Is anyone aware of the interval of this?

    Regards.

Took me a while to workout that SBX is Sandbox (I guess?!)

Anway, I digress. I was playing with this last few days myself as I needed to clear space and I don't think there is a set interval. Deleting environments was instant towards my capacity, using a bulk delete of records took 24 hours to calculate but deleting one by one en masse with Power Automate was getting my statistics updated pretty quickly, within an hour or two.

You could try and raise a support ticket to see if they have any input but generally I've not seen it much longer than 24 hours.

    Hi Jeff,

From what I've seen in the past, I agree with Matt that it takes up to 24 hours to reflect changes in the Capacity summary page. But if you deleted more than just audit data, say database or file, it does take more time to reflect - update to 30 days. However, you can speed this up to 15 days for a sandbox org.
