    Hello,

I am receiving an error message when adding a person as a project manager.  It is only this one individual I am not able to add.  He has a CRM license, but I receive the error message:

Has anyone been working with Project within Dynamics or come across this error message before?  I have attached the error details.

    Thanks for the help :)

    Hi Jennifer,

A bit of a long shot, but:
It looks like your Project Service plugin throws an error on selecting this user as a bookable resource because his resource name is not unique. You may wanna try running an advanced find on the resource entity to check if this person maybe exists as both a project manager and something else.

This would also explain why it only happens to this person, and not to others.

let me know if this helped.

    Kind regards,

@Rogier Vriezen Thanks so much for your response!

I did as you suggested and ran an advanced find on "Bookable Resource" and located only one record.  It had the resource type "Contact", so I created another one using "User" and added a 2 after his name.  I was then able to populate the project manager field with his user record.  Thanks for the help!

    Hi @Jennifer Havir,
Great to hear that it did the trick!
I got to this by reading the error details in your attachment.

one last tip on that: be careful sharing those files with non-anonymized data, as it may conflict with your companies privacy policy.

    Have a nice day!
