    Hi all,
We're on D365 Online Customer Engagement v9x.  Is it possible to audit whether a user has performed one of the following actions...

    • Run a report
    • Export a report
    • Export a view
We don't currently audit the Report entity.  Here are our Auditing settings...

Although we don't have Start Read Auditing enabled i'm aware of the options available within the o365 Security & Compliance Center (see below).  Not sure if the 3 actions i'm interested in would fall into the below, maybe Performed bulk actions?

    Grateful for any advice.

    Thanks.

When you say report, are you talking about SSRS reports, views, graphs, or something else. There is no way to track who is exporting data from the system using a view - you can only turn that on and off in security roles.

I do not believe there is a native (inside CRM or SSRS) "on-line" way to do it, but how about if you create a graphic image (like your logo) in Azure CDS or Storage (depending on your use-case) and then make a reference to it on your SSRS reports using an external URL resource, and you can include a report ID and the users GUID as an URL parameter. Then turn on audit logs on your storage account and you can then analyze who opened which report.

Hi @Nelson Johnson, when I say "reports", I mean the OOTB reports functionality (as per below).  We are interested in monitoring who is exporting data from CRM, whether that be from a report or a view.

We don't use SSRS reports with Dynamics although we did on our previous CRM which allowed us to see who ran specific reports.  Is it still possible to see who ran a specific report within SSRS?

We allow our users to export to Excel but this would be an easy way to restrict who can export to Excel.

As far as I know, there is no way to monitor who runs or exports any given piece of data. The method I proposed above is just an idea I had but have never implemented.
