Dynamics365 as CMS

Has anyone used Dynamics365 as part of their CMS (Content Management) system?

What data/insights can you get from using this? Are there any added benefits to doing it this way as opposed to hosting it on something like WordPress?

    Hi Carter

Power Apps portals is in a sense a CMS for Power Platform and Dynamics 365.  While it is a good portal solution (allows external users to securely work with data from Dynamics 365/Dataverse), it doesn't have the same CMS capabilities as something like a Sitefinity, Sitecore or even WordPress would have.

Here is a link to Power Apps portals info:

There are some 3rd party ISVs that can integrate with Dynamics 365 with industry standard CMS systems.  I am mentioning these only as info and not as advertising (full disclosure, these fine folks may have bought me drinks/coffee in the past):

There are a few other 3rd party options as well.  I wrote a blog post a few years ago on the various portal options for Dynamics 365 (I likely should update it):

I hope you find these links helpful.

I also would be interested in hearing what other folks might have done for CMS systems and Power Platform.
