    Good Morning,
Our organization is using Finance and Operations and CE.  We run Sales and Customer Service within CE and all of our Engineering, Manufacturing and Finances are run through F&O with several integrations working to link the two.

We have users who work within Finance and Operations who need Read Only rights into CE and then we have CE users who need some Read Only rights into Finance and Operations. I have been mapping out our licensing moving away from the "plans" and setting users up with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales or Customer Service licenses.  I was hoping to utilize a Team license for F&O for my CE users and vice versa for my F&O users to view CE.  However, this is not possible due to the license setup structure.

An example is our service team works in the Customer Service app but needs the ability to view product BOMs and attached drawings within F&O before they go onsite to clients.

I realize that I can add the subsequent D365 app for my users, however this is really more than what we need for these Read Only permissions.  I am reaching out to see if anyone has some suggestions on how we can accomplish this without purchasing all the subsequent app licenses.

    Thanks for your help,

It might be possible to use a PowerApp license to render the information that these other team members need.  I think with PowerApp you could create an app that is reading the data from Dynamics, but the end user would not need a Dynamics license.    This is still a grey area for me that I'm trying to sort out myself.
