new vs. old form editor

    The other day we started a new solution and from the app designer, it popped up the new form editor. (Online, 9.x) After we got over the initial "uh, what do we do now?" moment, we really came to enjoy this new editing experience. Is there a way to instigate this new form editing from within the solution editor or do I have to go via the app designer to get it until they implement it in wider scale? :)

    Hi,

    You can do it from the solution editor also. Hopefully, you are using the new solution editing experience from make.poewrapps.com.

    @Gretchen Garcia, 

    As I mentioned in your other post, I'd encourage you to use the new Maker Portal (https://make.powerapps.com/) for all your customization, as opposed to the legacy/classic solution explorer. From here, you'll have access to all the newest features and will sometimes need to click the "Switch to Classic" button for the items which are unavailable in the new model-driven form designer.

    Oh cool! Thanks! :) I didn't know that existed (or that's what we're supposed to be using these days.) We've only been online since July so this is all still very new to us. :)
