Task from CRM to Outlook and default Reminders

    Hi everyone,
One of our users noticed something interesting when syncing tasks from CRM back into Outlook.  At this point I don't know if this is strictly a CRM issue, strictly an Outlook issue or a weird combination of both (and needless to say I'm stumped).

When the task is created in Outlook the reminder time is set to 7PM one day before the due take on the task.

To test this I created a task in CRM and added a Start Date of 5/17 and a Due Date of 5/19 5PM

Sure enough when the task was synced back to Outlook the reminder time came over as 5/18 7PM.

I checked my default reminder time in Outlook and it is set to 7:45AM.

At first I thought this was a time zone issue since when data is pulled from CRM using an integration package you get everything in a UAT format.  And outlook isn't converting the time (or doens't care)  But my timezone is CST which is -5 hours from UAT.  So if that were the case the reminder would come over at 10PM (not 7PM).

We did a few other tests with different dates and it is always the same.  If there is a due date on the task then the reminder time will always come over as [due date -1 day] at 7PM.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you
