Import existing flows to solution created using Solution Explorer

    Hi,

    I have been working on a solution for a while using the old Solution Explorer. Now I have tried to switch to web.powerapps.com and in connection to that, I would like to add some existing flows to that solution.

    However, I'm just getting the screen below.

    Is there a way I can import the flows - or do I really have to create them from scratch via web.powerapps.com to include them in the solution?

    @Niels Lønberg - If you have any Flows already created, you should see them in the web.powerapps.com Flows area. However, you may need to toggle between your environments. In the top right of the web.powerapps.com site, there is an Environment drop-down list. Once you have selected the Environment, check if the Flow is under "My Flows" or "Team Flows".

    The flows are in the right environment. However, I'm just not able to see them when I click 'Add existing flow'.

    I can see via the official Flow forums, that I'm not the only one with the issue.

    @Niels Lønberg - Something I forgot to add: If the Flow was created under another account that's different from the one you used to log into web.powerapps.com, then you won't see the Flow. You have to be added as an Owner on the Flow in order to see the Flow.

    This is disappointing in comparison to the Workflows within Dynamics 365. As an System Admin, you can see all Workflows regardless of who created them and who owns them.

    @Aaron Back, MCSE,

    That's not the case either.

    However, @David Yack replied to the thread on the Flow Forum where he pointed to the April 2019 release notes mention that 'Adding canvas apps and flows to a solution even if they weren't created in a solution' will be supported from June if everything goes well.

    So I guess I just have to be a bit patience - or re-create the flows in my solution.

    Try going to the Flow website (https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/) rather than the PowerApps website. You can export/import Flows there. I also tried to do it from the PowerApps site and discovered that I couldn't.

    @Michael Cross,

    Thanks for your input - but the whole point is not having to export/import the flows into each environment - but including them in a solution.
