Ribbon Workbench forum, and can an Action exit a Command?

    1) Is there a Ribbon Workbench forum anywhere on the internet?  No matter how I search for Ribbon Workbench help, I always end up back at https://ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/, which has a very thin knowledge base and nowhere to ask user questions.

    2) I've successfully added a Custom Javascript Action to an OOTB command; but I need a way for that Action to abort the rest of that command if needed.

It is a validation Action that runs when I click "+" to add a Quote to an Opportunity.  I've taken it as far as throwing an alert box if validation fails, but unfortunately it then continues on, creating and then displaying the Quote.  Is there a way for a Custom Javascript Action to cause the rest of the command to not run?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not aware of a dedicated forum for Ribbon Workbench, though @Scott Durow is active on a lot of other community forums.

If you want some custom Javascript to prevent the main action from running, could you add it as an Enable Rule rather than the main Command?

Good idea, but unfortunately it won't work in this case.  The custom Javascript validates the Opportunity and then displays an Alert box with a list of the problems that must be corrected, if any.  That's basically a process that needs to be initiated once by the "+" button click, when the user is "done" updating the Opportunity and ready to advance it to a Quote.  It's not suitable for running periodically on its own to enable or disable the "+" button.  Thank you for replying, though.
