Power Automate - how to get current user/records owned by a specific user?

I am having trouble using Power Automate to pull a list of records that belong to the flow owner/runner.

I have looked at this and this, but I must be missing something. The latter seems the closest to what I am looking for, but the screenshot of the get record action does not give enough details to dig in.

    Per the instructions:
    1. Get user's O365 profile
    2. Get D365 record using email address.
I do not see how to use anything but the D365 GUID to pull the specific record. If I had this, I would not need this step at all.

Has anyone had success with getting a user's D365 ID using flow? This seems like it should be a no-brainer, and I cannot get it figured out.

Thanks for lending your brain power on this.

Getting the user who initiates the Flow is trigger dependent, the ones that I'm aware of that will get you the user of the Flow for Dynamics 365 are "When Record is Selected" (see screenshot below)and the Manual trigger. I don't think the other CDS triggers have that option, I checked the "when Record is Updated" and it doesn't give you the option, so I'm assuming none of the CDS triggers do.
