I am a new administrator to D365.  I have CRM experience but not in Dynamics.  I have used the online support materials and web.  I am looking for  suggestions for the best formal training/courses to learn more?

    Hi Margaret!

Great question and one that everyone has struggled with when taking on the role. Would recommend checking out these other posts that have some great answers.
    Recordings for Beginners
    Dynamics 365 Courses

In a nutshell, it depends if you want specific training on your system, general training on Dynamics 365, or if you are looking to get certified in Dynamics 365.

Training on your system - work with your current partner
General Training - The Black Belt program comes highly recommended
    Microsoft Certified - Microsoft Learning

More than happy to answer any specific or follow-up questions you might have. Would love to connect if you are at Summit this week.

    Hi Margaret!

I was you a year ago! I am delivering a session on this very topic at Summit next week. "How I spent my first year as a D365 Admin".

I have a whole folder full of bookmarks for different training resources I used, both paid and free. Here are some that jump out for you to get started:

    Hi Margaret -

Any chance you are coming to Summit in Phoenix next week?  That would be a tremendous help, not only for the sessions, but the CRM Black Belt courses that are available in pre-conference training sessions.

If you can't make the conference, those same Black Belt courses are available online here:  Academy On Demand - Dynamics CRM User Group

    Hi Margaret,

    Sorry for the late response.

Please do Microsoft dynamics certification training from Microsoft registered or authorized training provider in your region.

Microsoft Dynamics Customization and Configuration certification (MB2 - 716) will help you a lot.

Once you will pass this exam then go for other certifications like Customer engagement and online deployment MB2 - 715 and Dynamics 365 for Sales MB2 - 717.

Please read Microsoft MVP Neil Parkhust exam preparation notes and get your head around.

Please read Dynamics community blog too.

    Hope this helps.
