Publishing SSRS report to Sharepoint?

    Good afternoon everyone

We're on D365 online latest version.  I'd like to share an SSRS report with the rest of my users via SharePoint online.  It can either be a fetchxml report direct from crm or sql report from our sql database copy.

Has anyone done this? I'm currently running sql2012 SP3 on the reporting server.  Reports are built in VS2015 elsewhere.  If I need to upgrade anything please do tell (it's probably about time).

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hi Julia,

I believe you have two options here. You can add the RDL directly to CRM in the Reports area by creating a new report and selecting existing file. The source for this report needs to be fetch though, but you said that wasn't a problem.

The other option, and I'm honestly not familiar with this one as it might be on the newer side, is the Link to Webpage option when creating a new report:

    Webpage Report
With that option, you might be able to create a 'Report' in CRM that just goes to the URL listed, which in this case would be your report stored in SharePoint. I'd be curious to see if that works as it seems to be the quickest and easiest option. I have a feeling that'll be a less flexible report though in that it won't have the context of the current record if you planned on adding the report to a form.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Julia

Is PowerBI an option? There is a way you can embed PowerBI within Sharepoint online page.
Since your D365 already online, it shouldn't be too difficult to connect to it from PowerBI

Embed with report web part in SharePoint Online - Power BI
    Microsoft remove preview
Embed with report web part in SharePoint Online - Power BI
With Power BI's new report web part for SharePoint Online, you can easily embed interactive Power BI reports in SharePoint Online pages.
