Recreate Web Servers if SQL Databases are intact

In one of our Test environments our web servers for CRM On Prem 8 were deleted, but our SQL Server is still in place.  Is it possible to reinstall a CRM Server and use an existing SQL Server where the config and organization databases are still intact?  Thanks.

Yes, you just need to make sure you use the same Active Directory service accounts you used for the install previously.  When prompted for the database server, you can point it back to your SQL server.

    Hi Sam,

You can definitely reinstall a CRM server and use an existing SQL server. There shouldn't be any issues with the Org databases as you can easily import Orgs however you might run into issues as the installation of CRM is going to want to create a new Config DB. I believe there is a way to use the existing Config DB but it makes things more complicated.
