Sales Hub Roll-out

We are working with our sales team to roll-out the Sales Hub over the course of the next few months by region. This will give us better control of training to ensure easier adoption of the update. To start, we need to remove access to the Sales Hub for all users (with a few exceptions) and we can add the access to the users once it is time for their training. I have already gone into Manage Roles in My Apps and included Sales Enterprise app access only. I updated everyone's security role to exclude Sales Enterprise app access, but I am still seeing when testing. I am looking for any ideas on how I can block access to the Sales Hub.

    Hello @Becky Beaucher,

The steps you have taken are perfect to limit access to the users to the sales hub app.Just checking if you have removed the Read privilege to the app from the Users Security role- To check same you can navigate to settings -->security-Open the security role -Under customization tab look for Model driven app. and remove the read privilege. This should get the access functionality working if not already achieved.

    Please let me know.

    Thank you

I do not think you can hide the Unified Interface apps from the home.dynamics.com screen.  However, if someone does not have a role with access to a particular app they will receive an error when trying to launch it.

    Permissions Warning
One thing you could try is showing them how to set up an auto-launch by going to home.dynamics.com and then clicking the Settings gear.

    Settings
Then click on Preferences and paste in the URL you would like them to be using (either the classic Web interface or the new Unified Interface).
