    Good Morning, I am needing some help with our contact lookup fields on Opportunities, Cases and Quotes.  We currently have the field set to filter the contacts by the account used on the record.  On occasion our users need to have the ability to choose a contact that is not associated with the account on the record.  When I change the view to Active Contacts I am still only allowed to choose contacts associated with the account.   In previous versions our users could uncheck a filter box to open up the contact records available.  Since we switched our operations to the new UI, it appears this is no longer available.  Within the field properties the ability to allow users to remove the filter is still there.   I have considered using connections, however this is not a great solution for my users.  Does anyone know if this option is still available or if there is a work around.?  Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi Mandy,
    Although the option to enable/disable the filter appears when editing in the classic interface it is not available in the WYSIWYG form designer. It does not appear that this feature has made it to the UI yet. The only work around that I have found is to add the contact before the account to your record. This will allow you to select a contact from any account and then add your desired account. If you already have values in each of these fields (updating your record) then you'll need to remove the account value, change the contact, and re-add the account. Not the most efficient but it gets the job done and prevents you from having to use connections.
