Does anyone use this option to update fields in CRM? I used to have no issue but now things are not working.
I wanted to import all accounts where a unique ID was missing (for some reason it didnt work on my previous project and I have to back track) so I imported all active accounts that had no data in this unique id field. I populated it with data on the open in excel online option and then when I went to import that data back I received a ton of errors saying duplicates exist etc.. but all I was doing was updating a field - same thing I did using excel online last time.
that is the only way I have ever imported things in CRM- am I doing it wrong? the issue is I need this unique id field on these records- part of the issue is that we have multiple accounts same name in diff locations so I need to make each record unique with these ids.
