    Folks,
Looking for some opinions regarding records with multiple assignees.
We have a custom entity that goes through a review stage where the record must be reviewed by two or more users.
I'm thinking the best way to achieve this would be to use the Teams entity.
Has anyone else taken this approach?
    Thanks!

Hey Donal...there are several ways I've tackled this in the past. (Owner) Teams being one of them, Access Teams being another, I've also used Business Process Flows, Connections, and even workflows to drive different assignees' responsibilities...even Approval Flows can be a good fit, so it all depends on what you are trying to do and what you need to accomplish. It's really hard to give you an exact answer with this minimum level of information, but definitely look into the link below, it might be all you need: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vREhJkPxqr0

    Hi Gus,
Thanks for intro to PA Approvals - been meaning to look at them for a while.
Am I right in thinking they don't sit super well with Dynamics/CDS, as the approval has to take place outside of the record?

Apologies for the minimal level of info.
At the simplest level, what I'm trying to do is have a situation where groups of nominated people are notified that an event has happened in a record (e.g. item is for approval) - there could be a Review Team and an Approve Team.
I started playing around with a lookup to the Teams entity as I has forgotten that the Owner field is a User/Team field.
But I think the one owner field per entity will probably stump me there but it could definitely be useful for My type views.
I think I will try use flow to get the list of users that are team members and use that to email them.

    Thanks!

    Hi Donal,

I actually wrote an article about something similar to this, I setup an 'Approvars" exchange office 365 group (similar to distribution groups in exchange) were the flow queries the folks who are in that group and sends them the approval email. I also built out a custom entity to track these approvals. This example is for opportunity approval tracking, but you could do this for other types of records as well. I hope this helps: https://d365goddess.com/tracking-opportunity-approvals/
