    Hi all,
We're on D365 CE Online v9x classic interface.  We have a sandbox environment called PLAY which we use for proof-of-concepts and testing theories without having to worry about breaking existing processes/customizations.  We haven't kept PLAY up to date with our solution migrations as well as leaving managed solutions in PLAY which we no longer need.  It feels like the best option is to take a full copy of DEV (the first environment in our release process) and overwrite PLAY with it (both environments are in the same tenant).

I've gone through the Microsoft guidance but have a query around Application Users.  We have unique Application Users in DEV and PLAY (e.g. that have different Application ID's, Application ID URI's and Azure AD Object ID's and are linked to different App Registrations).  I'm assuming that when I perform the overwrite that the details of the Application Users in PLAY will also be overwritten with the details of the DEV Application Users.  I want to retain the current details of the PLAY Application Users.  I've exported the Application User details along with the GUID's so I have a record but not sure what the course of action would be once i've performed the overwrite.

Is this even possible or would new Application Users and App Registrations need to be set up for PLAY if I want them separate from the ones in DEV?

Have a great weekend and thanks in advance.
