Opportunity forecasting with multiple unit groups

    Hello there,

    Our different unit groups assigned to our products are based on our GL account structure and financial reporting.  When we have multiple unit groups being sold on one opportunity we can't find a way to forecast appropriately.  There seems to be a disconnect between the opportunity lines, which contains the until group, and the opportunity where all other needed information is held.
    Has anyone had similar and figured this out?  Or found other ways to forecast by product groups to match your financials?

    We utilize Item Group which relates back to the GL's that are specified. I believe it all configuration and out of the box. Although we are still on Dynamics AX 2012 I believe this portion carried over to 365.

    Hi,

    What reporting tool are you using?
    Have you tried using PowerBI? Although not sure about your structure i would geuss that you can get the connect working using PowerBI using custom columns.
