Delete Lead to Opportunity Sales Process

    Does anyone know if I select the Lead from this advanced find and opt for this option highlighted below if it will delete the entire record on this Lead? I am a bit confused by this option. Basically, I cant get this lead to qualify because the user, at one point, deleted an opportunity under this name and then must have added him back as a Lead and when he tried to qualify it wont allow him. Everyone else shows Qualify under Active Stage not develop.

    I dont know how to fix this so he can be qualified?

    Hi Heather,

    I suspect the user didn't add a new Lead and you are looking at the same Lead record. While the Lead to Opportunity Sales process would have been the culprit in this instance, you can rectify the issue as per below.

    With the Lead previously qualified and had its Opportunity deleted, what you need to do is:
    1. Set the active stage of the Lead to Opportunity Sales Process back to Qualify via the UI bv expanding it and clicking Set Active. See below, the active stage would still have been Developed, but what you are seeing is the Qualify stage information of the Lead.
    2. Reactivate the Lead and Qualify it again.

    **Update** It worked. I realized he connected the account to the other contact in CRM so it made the Lead info as a connection instead. Whew. thanks for your help!
