Track Email activity from D365 app for phone

    I noticed a change recently when a user initiates a call from the D365 app for phone it will create a phone call activity against that record after the call is complete. However when I try to initiate an email the same way, it opens the mail client on my iPhone. I does not create an activity against the record as I had hoped. Also, I couldn't use the Outlook app on the iPhone to send the email. I had to configure an email account using the native mail client on the iPhone.

    Has anybody had any success creating an email activities by clicking on the mail icon next to the record email address?

    I have not gotten the email to work but I didnt even know about the phone call activity until you posted this, so thank you for sharing!
