Voice of the Customer Dashboards

    We are starting to ramp up usage of Voice of the Customer. Naturally we want to have nice dashboards configured to visualize our data. Within the Solution settings under Dashboards I can see a set of Voice of the Customer dashboards. Great! However, I can't seem to figure out where you can view these. Surely it can't be this hard to track down dashboards, but I have yet to find where these gems are hidden. Has anyone else figured this out?

    Hi Marcus,

    Although you can't edit those Dashboards inside the Voice of the Customer solution, you can however edit them under the Default Solution.

    Go to Settings -> Customizations -> Customize the System and expand Dashboards. You should have access to the VoC dashboards to edit them, save, and publish your changes.

    If you don't want to edit the VoC Out of the Box Dashboards, you can always select the dashboard and click on "Save As" to "clone" the dashboard as unmanaged.

    Hi Gus,

    Thanks for the response. I should clarify that the issue is not how to modify the VoC dashboards, as I am familiar with that. The issue is that I haven't found where in Dynamics the actual dashboards can be viewed. No where in the VoC solution or within an app configured with VoC entities have I found to view the dashboards.

    Using the app scenario as an example, I can set that only the VoC dashboards are available. In that scenario no VoC dashboards display within the app. Rather, all of the system dashboards are available to select.

    I have to think I'm missing this but I have looked, looked, and looked some more but have not been able to figure it out.

    Have you verified the security role are selected. I think by default VOC Dashboards are selected to only "Survey User". So if you want to assign them to custom security roles you will need to add them to other ones. For me that is how they i got them to pop up in the main Dashboard Section.

    That was it! Completely overlooked security roles need to be enabled at the dashboard-level. I only have the System Administrator role assigned, which isn't one of the default selected for those dashboards. Once I enabled that role on the dashboard it displayed. Thanks!
