    Hi CRM cohort.

We are using Dynamics 365 Sales with Dynamics 365 BC, where we have integration of sales ordered between two apps.
Once the order is submitted from Dynamics 365 Sales to BC, the record - Sales Order in Dynamics 365 Sales is locked for further changes:

I think one way you might be able to accomplish what you want is with an on-demand workflow. The workflow would have one step, "Change Status". Select New as the status reason under Active. Make sure to uncheck the start when record is created checkbox and check the box for on-demand. Register it against Order when you create the workflow. The user experience would be that they are on the submitted order and they can use the "Run Worklfow" menu bar button. When the workflow completes they should be able to add items to the Order.

    Hi Andy.

    Thank for the reply.
I appreciate your ides, workflow may solve the issue.

I will just need to check how CRM will behave after running the workflow and when amended order is Submitted to Dynamics 365 BC. My opinion is that probably integration will work without issues.

    All the best.
