We've been trying to set up a new form field in Marketing for Dynamics. We're setting up the Company Name field but are unable to select "company Name" from the "Contact mapping" drop down. It is, however, available in the "Lead mapping" drop down. We've not run into any other problems like this in any other form field. It seems that only when trying to select "Company Name" is when the issue occurs. Any thoughts on how we can get Company Name into the Contact mapping field or why it's not showing up?
Depends on how your system is set up, but on a Contact record the Company Name field is a lookup (Customer) but on a Lead record the Company Name field is a single line of text. I believe that could be causing the issue You may want to reuse or create another field on the Contact record to save that company name from the marketing form, and then use a workflow or something else to set the lookup field.
