I am in my outlook calendar and select a block of time & then right-click to open menu.. where I can choose New Appointment etc.. however, I want to be able to pick the custom activity Review which doesn't show. I can pick it from the CRM Activity icon however it will not show up in my Outlook calendar. Perhaps there is another way to schedule custom activities within your outlook calendar and have it show up in it (and sync to CRM) ?
All good now. looked back & saw the post from 3 days ago asking same thing and some good ideas there from community ! :-) 1 said customizing appt activity to do what I want & that worked great including ability to use outlook calendar, sync, still run workflows even though everything done in outlook etc.

With it, you can create custom activities and add them to your calendar. It will automatically sync with your CRM and remind you of the activity in real-time.
Along with this, you can create appointments and a calendar for individuals according to their ongoing tasks.
You can even configure the appointment dashboard and choose the details you would like to view on the dashboard.
