we would like our CRM 2011 users to be able to map out all the leads they currently have on a map so that it helps them make calls in the same areas and not waste time - for example same zip, same city.... - Have any of you heard of an add-In for mapping leads? Any suggestions? thank you

We use batchgeo.com, but it's an extra step. We export the data we want to map to Excel and then paste it to the site and it maps it all out. It will even vary the colours for different items (eg. warm leads red, mild leads blue, etc.). For what we require we find it really handy.

I do know that mycrmgroup.com has an integrated solution as well and I believe it functions directly in Dynamics....http://downloads.mycrmgroup.com/eMap.aspx Not really sure how it works but watched the video and it seems intuitive enough and like what you are looking for. For what it's worth I've dealt with them for another solution (Spellcheck) and they are fabulous to deal with.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Sandrine,

We are working on a new PowerPack component -- PowerMaps.  It should be released in a about 3 weeks.  Ping me offline if you want to help beta test it.  It will be point and click to map any data in your crm and even data from different entities such as leads and competitors all in the same map.

Is this for phone calls, where you only need to segment by time zone?  For that, just add a TimeZone field.

If this is for field people who want to map a road trip, there are a number of mapping solutions available.  With the better apps, you can do a query like "list all my accounts within X miles of address Y", or map a driving route and get a list of all the accounts along it.  I've used ArcGIS in the past - it maps down to the street level.

You might look at CRMSavvy I saw their product at the CRMUG Summit in October. I think it might do what you need.

Using standard Bing calls, we created a Proximity Map capability based on a user defined distance from the current Lead/Contact address OR any address that the user inputs.

Great for reps who have an appointment cancelled at the last minute, or when the call is much shorter than anticipated!

Call me at 610-355-1978 x115 if you'd like to.
