I didn’t have a chance to take in Windsor Castle or even Fish & Chips, but the United Kingdom really knows how to execute and deliver an outstanding CRMUG Chapter event! It was a fantastic day in Reading, England at the TVP Campus of Microsoft while connecting, learning, and sharing with 85 other Dynamics CRM users. Many of whom were just as excited to join us for “the ROME 2013 Event” for CRMUG on January 31 – February 1st; which is timely due to the early bird discount deadline on December 15th. Don’t forget to register here: http://www.crmug.com/conferences/rome2013/
The agenda involved a great CRM roadmap discussion from Marco Amoedo Martinez a Partner Technology Specialist with Microsoft and even better CRM member showcase presentations from Alan Cox with Travel Corporation and Stephanie Hague with MerseyTravel. Both of these fantastic overviews showcased how using Dynamics CRM as an “xRM” application transformed their business processes and execution. Additionally, Ita McAndrew a Product Manager with Microsoft gave an update on the Office 365 launch that is set to happen soon for the United Kingdom and surrounding countries.
One of my highlights was demoing the new CRMUG member benefit “Collaborate” to the audience that was extremely well-received! I was impressed to hear the U.K. Chapter audience commit to leverage Collaborate (http://community.crmug.com) to share in meeting notes, presentations, and communication. The presentations are posted there and I applaud you all for diving in to this fantastic social collaboration benefit at your fingertips!
I am sincerely impressed and grateful for the great leadership of the U.K. Chapter team with Simon Morton (Eyeful Presentations Ltd) and the gang and for great Microsoft support (Lisa Wakely) for following through and truly being committed to ongoing customer success with Dynamics CRM.
Cheers, Tony Stein – CRMUG Director
