Executive Roundtable - The Pulse of your Organization – Making sure Business Information and Data is transformed into Trusted Knowledge
|
Dynamic Communities invites you to join in an intimate discussion with world-renown Business Intelligence (BI) guru, Nigel Geary, and other executives centered on real approaches and best practices for shaping your companies BI strategy. Monday, September 14, 2009 9:00 am - 11:30 am CDT Pheasant Run Resort – St. Charles
Discussion Details: Most organizations are capturing more and more data. But most organizations still have trouble synthesizing the mounds of data that can be trusted and organized in such a fashion to allow timely and sound decisions to be made.
This “C-Level” dialog will be about finding a vision and strategy for Business Intelligence (BI). It will seat executives with varying levels of progress toward “Knowledge Nirvana” together at the same table to discuss best practices, approaches, and where to find ROI.
This discussion IS NOT about specific software products, implementation projects, or specific reports to run. Those sessions can be attended later by you and your colleagues once you’re confident of your executive vision for Business Intelligence.
You will walk away with:
- Key success stories (and maybe a few nightmares) from others who lead businesses like yours in their quest to have a better handle on their business through BI.
- Approaches to transforming your data into a trusted, strategic asset
- New expectations of how your decisions can be made with more confidence and greater velocity
We encourage you to take some time from your busy schedule and join us for what will be thought-provoking discussion, an opportunity to learn from your peers, and real takeaways.
Who should attend? C-Level executives (or their appropriate designees) interested in furthering their organizations ability to make more confident decisions based on efficient access to business knowledge
Your Facilitator: We are honored to bring in Dr. Nigel Geary to facilitate this Roundtable. Nigel has been involved in Business Intelligence (BI) and analytic applications since 1978 following his doctorate in computer modelling from the University of Liverpool. After 10-years of working on mainframe Decision Support Systems (DSS), in 1990/91 Nigel helped establish Arbor Software (now part of Oracle/Hyperion) authors of the first OLAP server, Essbase, setting up their international operations in Europe and then Asia Pacific. Returning to London in 2000 Nigel entered the Microsoft Dynamics arena joining one the largest Microsoft Dynamics Partners as Head of Business Intelligence. Nigel founded PrecisionPoint Software in October, 2002 with a clear mission to create BI/data warehouse software to address the specific needs of mid-market ERP users. PrecisionPoint Business Warehouse is now the leading BI automation product for Dynamics AX and Dynamics NAV.
