Syed Ali

Syed has extensive experience with business process automation and corporate IT initiatives.
In the last 12 years, Syed has led numerous business solution developments, integration and deployment projects for Blockbuster, Chase Bank, DFW Airport, Dallas School District, Medical Mutual of Ohio, VHA, Verizon, Wal-Mart and many other small, medium and large enterprises.

Syed has deployed Microsoft CRM since its inception for several not for profit and for profit organizations that significantly maximized revenue stream and optimized resources. Syed also deployed SharePoint portals and branded solutions at Blockbuster and VHA for document imaging, archiving, collaborating and other business process automation needs. Syed is currently working at PrintPlace as the CRM Architect. He is implementing Web Analytics integration with Dynamics CRM and developing metadata strategy for e-commerce and SharePoint at PrintPlace.

Prior to pursue IT as a technical career Syed has worked in direct marketing and relationship selling for over 12 years in hospitality, fashion, appliances and software industries.

Syed is very active in the community as a social worker. He has served as a member of the advisory board for the Mayor of the City of Irving in Texas.  He is also an active member of Dallas-Ft. Worth User Groups for Microsoft Small Business Server, SharePoint and Project Server. He is the chairman of the Dallas chapter of the Dynamics CRM User Group.

Syed has been living in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metro area from 1985 since he migrated from Bangladesh. Syed likes to play chess, enjoys fishing and travel as well as watching football.
